Task 5: Model of a comet
A comet is a small irregular object consisting predominantly of ice, carbon dioxide and dust. The nucleus of the comet can be modelled in several ways. Attention! In both of the following procedures, substances with very low temperature are used. If carelessly handled, there is a risk of frostbite. Therefore, only the teacher handles the cooking of the model comets. Dry ice and liquid nitrogen can be purchased for example in Linde Gas Ltd.
