Protected plants (see chapter 2.12 Nature Protection)

Attention! A number of medicinal plants were intensively collected in the past and now they belong to protected plants, so we cannot collect them in the wild (e.g. in the Czech Republic mountain species: wolf ‘s bane – Arnica montana (Fig. 1), masterwort – Imperatoria ostruthium, whose roots were gathered). Intensive collection of plants is one of the factors causing reduction of species diversity.
